Construction, building and levelling and setting out skills support the industry from the ground up. We specialise in a range of courses to give construction workers recognised qualifications. At Construction College Midlands we deliver training in construction and specialist trades and we also run successful apprenticeships covering these areas.

Our training facilities provide conditions which aim to replicate construction sites as closely as possible, so you can be confident that the skills practised can be put straight to use on your site. You will use state-of-the-art and traditional equipment.

This two-day course is for both operatives and supervisors who already hold the New Roads and Street Works Card. Anyone carrying out work on the public highways must be reassessed every 5 years.

This course teaches the skills supervisors need to carry out work to the standards of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 - the legal framework for street works.

This two-day course is for those on site with responsibility for managing all forms of temporary works. It is designed to give confidence to senior management and those who engage with contractors.

This one day training course provides delegates with a broad insight to the topic of Temporary Works, including an understanding of the essentials of good safety risk management.

This course complements the temporary works coordinator training course (TWCTC) and is designed to provide training for those undertaking the role of temporary works supervisor (TWS), as defined in BS 5975:2019.
